What a Limo!

I was searching through some of my client DVDs the other night and I came across a DVD containing images from a wedding I took several years ago. I remember this wedding as if it was yesterday:

Roger and Katherine came by our studio to discuss their wedding plans. It seems that they had already decided that they wanted to hire Hermle Photography for their wedding, but they just wanted to make sure that I was ok with one aspect of their plans. You see, Katherine's family owned a helicopter, and if I recall their neighbor owned one as well. Instead of using a stretch limo to take them from the church to the reception, they decided to do something really special; they wanted to use a helicopter as the limo. Roger and Katherine wanted to insure that I liked to fly because they wanted their photographer to fly with them from their ceremony to their reception and take a few photos along the way. I tried not being overly enthusiastic, but I'm sure I failed miserably. I think it took me all of a millisecond to respond saying that I had no problems flying as I was a pilot and I would love to photograph their wedding. What a day; the weather couldn't have been nicer, nor the air more calm than it was, and I might add, that flying through the White mountains was nothing short of incredible.
